This policy describes every cookie and every piece of browser storage the Algorix website uses. The list is short because the site was built not to need more.

What this website does not use

There is no Google Analytics or any other analytics product. There is no advertising or remarketing technology, no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads tag, no LinkedIn Insight Tag. There is no session recording or heatmap tool. There is no A/B testing or personalisation service. There are no social media share widgets, no embedded video players and no comment system. Web fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font network, so simply reading a page contacts no third party for content.

Because none of that is present, this website shows no cookie consent banner. There is nothing to consent to beyond storage that is strictly functional.

The one cookie

• Name: algorix-locale
• Purpose: remembers whether you read the site in English or Arabic
• Set when: only at the moment you use the language switch. It is not set on a first visit.
• Lifetime: approximately twelve months
• Attributes: path=/, SameSite=Lax
• Category: strictly functional. It carries no identifier and cannot be used to recognise you on any other website.

Browser local storage

• Name: algorix-theme
• Purpose: remembers whether you chose the light, dark or system appearance
• Set when: only at the moment you use the theme switch
• Lifetime: until you clear your browser storage
• Category: strictly functional. This is local storage rather than a cookie, which means it is never attached to a request and never reaches our servers.

Cookies set by our providers

Cloudflare sits in front of this website to provide TLS, content delivery and protection against denial-of-service attacks. Cloudflare may set cookies of its own for security purposes, such as distinguishing automated traffic from human visitors. We have verified that an ordinary page request to this site returns no such cookie, but Cloudflare's protections are adaptive and may set one if a request looks abnormal. These cookies are managed by Cloudflare, not by Algorix.

Refusing or removing this storage

Both items are strictly functional and neither identifies you, so there is no consent banner offering to turn them off. You can delete them at any time through your browser's settings, along with any other site data. Nothing will break if you do: the site will fall back to your browser's language preference and to the system appearance setting.

Changes

If the website ever adds analytics or any other non-essential technology, this policy will be updated before that technology is deployed, and an appropriate consent mechanism will be added at the same time.
